How to make your event accessible?

Updated by Jeremy Tang

We have built a unique accessibility tool to make live events as inclusive as possible.

Once set up, you will see an Accessibility button added to both your event listing page and the ticketing checkout page.

Set up accessibility information

When organising an event, there are a few small considerations to make to ensure it can be enjoyed by everybody.

To add information such as contact person, accessible parking, public transport options, follow the simple steps below:

  1. Go to Events from the top menu bar and select the event in question;
  2. From the left menu bar, head over to Promote >> Accessibility >> Information;
  3. Fill out the form and click Save.

Select accessibility features for your venue

Adding accessibility features is a quick and easy way to show how accessible your event is. To do so, simply follow these steps:

  1. Go to Events from the top menu bar and select the event in question;
  2. From the left menu bar, head over to Promote >> Accessibility >> Features;
  3. Fill out the form and click Save.

Here are all the features you can select from for your event:

People can filter events by accessibility requirements and it also guides organisers in handling and communicating how patrons with accessibility requirements will be taken care of on the day of the event.

Ask your attendees about their accessibility requirements

It's a good practice to never assume and ask attendees to advise of any accessibility requirements when registering so that these adjustments are managed as a part of the event.

You can simply add the built-in "Accessibility Requirements" additional question (show me how).
